How to Decorate a Dining Room for Fall

I shared last week that I’d probably do a little fall decorating as soon as Labor Day arrived… as it turns out, I’m even a bit early.

But, in my defense, I haven’t bought any pumpkins yet.

Really, I didn’t even change that much…

…even though it feels so different.

One of the lovely things about fall decor, unlike Christmas, is that there really isn’t a rush. You can layer in details, here and there, as it gets deeper into the season.

You might even be able to start with items — like tapered candles, wooden bowels and woven coasters — that aren’t even seasonal at all.

Clay Chalkboard Tutorial

Chalkboards are like art-in-motion, easy to change for whatever season, holiday or party you are celebrating… and similarly, printable art is quick and inexpensive to change.

You can find the “Give Thanks” print in my shop {but there is also one more day to enter the giveaway!}. As a note, I printed it on a tan cardstock, not white, which is why it may look slightly different than the listing photo.

Do you decorate for fall? What are your go-to items, besides pumpkins? 🙂
