Neutral Home Tour with Blues and Greens (Our First Home)

I missed writing to you all last week; but it’s been super busy at our house as we’ve been preparing to move!

Mike was the Family Pastor at a small church here in Lexington up until about a year and a half ago. It was a church start that we loved dearly and were so sad when they decided to close the doors after about 5 years. Over the last year and a half God has been blessing us, taking care of us and preparing us for our next church home.

In preparing for this move, we’ve been trying to “finish” several spaces in our home quickly over the last few months. You may have noticed with the patio, sunroom, guest bedroom and entry makeovers, while investing some time and money into our curb appeal too.

A little over a week ago Mike accepted a new position, we put our house on the market and started searching for a new home. It’s been busy, exciting and stressful, so a little blogging break was needed. Over the next few months I hope to share some details about selling, moving and maybe our new home {we’ll see!}; but there are still some things I want to share about this house we’ve loved the past 5 years. And, as a DIY/Home/Craft blogger, it would be a shame to skip a Home Tour, right?

Hope you enjoy!

Some rooms are still “in progress” in my mind and others are “finished”; but I look forward to sharing some of the details of each of these spaces over the next few weeks. Let me know if anything peaks your interest and I’ll make sure to cover it. Happy Tuesday!
