Finding Hidden Treasures at Feather Your Nest in Lexington, KY

I love a good visit to Lexington, KY! I get to catch up with friends and I love stopping by their great vintage and antique stores! On a recent visit to Lexington, Lora and I visited a local antique shop called Feather your Nest. Included below are pictures of items that caught our eye as great pieces to use to decorate your home. While I didn’t purchase any of the items below, I did go home with one treasure that I will show you in a future post. Happy treasure hunting! Glass domes are great for showcasing special items and even small plants. A beautiful painting to use in your home for winter time.  Great piece for a winter mantel display. I love the map here as it reminds me of the ones my teachers used in school.  This would be great in a kids room, play room, or even in an office or home school area. Old suitcases are great for adding character to a room. You can even use them in place of a nightstand or other small side table. Industrial items are very popular and add a vintage flair to rooms. These table top drawers would be great in a home office. This was a cute banner to use in your Christmas decor.  I love vintage Christmas decorations! This picture is dark but it is actually of a hanging mason jar set.  Add some lights and you have a great hanging light. This would be cute for an outdoor patio area.
