How was your Halloween weekend? We had a busy weekend with a few Harvest Festivals and Trick-or-Treating — and my little guy loved dressing up in his DIY Luigi Costume for the activities.

If it were up to my three-year-old, he’d play Mario Brothers through all his waking hours. His favorite character in the game is Luigi — I think, partly, because he just loves the color green.
Of all his costumes, this was the simplest by far (he has been a dinosaur, a bug, a pumpkin, and a Mouseketeer).
How to Make an Easy DIY Luigi Costume
This easy Luigi costume pulls together quickly. A perfect green cap ,basic overalls, and a green long sleeve tee are the base components for this quick DIY project.
Everything else is made from felt and basic craft supplies.

Follow this link to see an option with several sizes http://amzn.to/2xMZcUx XS-XXXL (affiliate link, fyi). We got a size M(7) for my 3 yr old and it was loose, but not so large that it was sliding down or anything. He has always had a large head though :) so his head might be larger than a typical 3-year old's head. They do have this guide on the listing: XS/S(base 6 1/2), M/L(base 7), XL/2XL(base 7 1/2), 2XL/3XL(base 8) and it assuming it means inches, that seems pretty accurate. His size 7 is about 7" across the base.

So cute! We had a Mario year a few years back (with Mario, Luigi, and Wa-Luigi), and I think we might have had that exact same cap from Amazon :)
