Now, won’t you step inside?
Guess what? We bought a light for our Dining Room! It wasn’t one of the five I shared a few weeks ago; but Mike and I were able to narrow down which style we liked best — and then found a great light for a good price on Cyber Monday. Unfortunately, it won’t be here until mid-January. Such a bummer; but the price and style is worth the wait.
So, for today, you are getting a mini-reveal of the Dining Room as part of our Christmas Tour. After we get the light in January, I’ll share a full reveal.
It’s just to the left of our entryway.

Our Dining Cabinet sits in the corner and it’s been dressed up for the holidays, too.

Bottle Brush Trees from a Christmas Village Set |
I printed out a few black and white copies of some favorite past Christmas photos. He has gotten so big!!
Silver Fox and Ornaments from Target After-Christmas Sales |
Ornaments don’t have to hang on the tree. This homemade handprint one gets it’s own special spot.
Speaking of ornaments, our Christmas Tree is in the Sunroom.
The garland is made from long necklaces, crafted by Artisans as part of the Mountain Maid program.
Hanging beside our tree is my first handmade and real wreath. I think it’s absolutely beautiful. Thanks to our local Extension Office for teaching an awesome wreath-making class and providing the materials from nature.
Handmade Quilted Tree Skirt layered with inexpensive Plaid Tree Skirt from Kohl’s After-Christmas Sales |

Your house looks so cozy! I really like the natural elements. Your vintage chalkboard really caught my eye. Great find and so cute with your house number.

So many great little touches! I'm finding the silver fox, Night Before Christmas Crock, and little wooden manger scene especially charming :)
