Love a mix of design styles & want to combine them beautifully? Take a cue from 10 bloggers with colorful, eclectic style. Mix modern, vintage, glam (and more!) for a look that is stunningly unique!
Out with the old, in with the you! Today I’m introducing you to 10 talented bloggers with colorful, eclectic style homes that reflect their personalities. Of course, I’ll be challenging you to inject your personality into your home decor, too!
There’s a popular game flying around social media this week called 10 Unpopular Opinions. Amongst her top 10, one of my sweet friends listed “All white home decor… I just love color too much.” Can you relate? I know I can… I couldn’t count the number of times I’ve second-guessed my decor choice simply because it was colorful.
She added, “everyone’s home looks the same.” Yes! There isn’t anything wrong with all-white decor… if you love it. However, too often, we choose white decor because we’re timid or because we believe it is “on-trend.”
As of today, you are freed from that dilemma… embrace color… and don’t hesitate to make unexpected eclectic decor choices.
10 Bloggers with Colorful, Eclectic Style
Colorful, Eclectic, Glam | Rain on a Tin Roof
Jenna leads the parade at Rain on a Tin Roof where flying your freak flag is highly encouraged. She believes each room in your home should be filled with mad personality.
She put carpet on a wall in her bedroom, even though 1975 called and asked her not to. She believes black painted walls are always a good option but has never turned her nose up at glorious color either. She’s a live wire.
Never expect to know what to expect from her – except the unexpected. She’s clear as mud like that.
A few of my favorite room makeovers from Jenna:
- Black + White Dining Room: That chandelier! Plus, her bar cart styling is top-notch (go check it out).

A snapshot of her style in a few words might be: classic, colorful, chinoiserie, preppy, bamboo, gold, green, blue and white, bright, monograms, eclectic, and gathered and her favorite tools of choice are a staple gun, sewing machine, and spray paint!
A few of my favorite makeovers from Jennifer:
